This spring I am putting power steering on my M. I have the pump (M&W) and Behlen power steering. I think I even have a flow diverter. I was even able to find a manual on Ebay. Anyway I want to use the live pump on my loader as well. It's an old Stanhoist with one way cylinders. I will also at some point be adding a cylinder to the bucket so I don't have to drop it down to click the bucket. I also use my loader to get into my trees to trim them and it would be nice to change the angle for easier standing, not to mention cleaning up around the place. I can get a the bucket and tines level for leaning up pine needles snow etc.
Anyway can I use the live hydraulics on one way cylinders? I don't think I can but didn't know if there was a way to run the hoses to make it work. Also the behlen manual calls for medium weight hydraulic oil. Would it be safe to assume I could use regular hydralic fluid in the this setup? I know I can't with the belly pump but didn't know if i could with this setup.
