Most of theirs that I have (operators, Blue Ribbon Service and assorted implement manuals) are staple bound like the originals, with similar/same weight and type of paper. I have the original for my BN and the BinderBooks repro, and the only difference is BB skipped the IH advertisement inside the front cover and replaced it with their CaseIH license. That and their cover is red instead of the buff color of the original.
The exception on the binding is the parts catalogs that I've gotten from them. Those have all been unbound, but punched for a three ring binder. That works fine for me. The one original parts catalog I have has a flat spine and doesn't like to lay open, so the three-ring loose-leaf works better for me in that case.
Another point, and I don't know if it applies to their parts books for other tractors, but the one I got from them for my SuperC is the edition from 1960, so it has a fuller range of changes and additions to part numbers than a catalog from 1951 would have had.
