If you think your A is not wired correctly, go to Bob M's wiring diagrams and check your tractor and make is it is wired like the diagram says. F-12's had the steering shaft low, and the F-14 had it raised up (joint in steering shaft/tall steering post). Check the engine serial number stamped on a smooth flat spot below the fuel pump, see if the number matches the number on the tag. If you have 40" rims, go find a set of 36" rims, 40" tires are very hard to find and extremely expensive.
