If you have the nut off, you must have the lock washer off too, so that should be it. Supposedly you can put a short bolt and washer in the threads of the pin to make it come with the flywheel but I don't know why it matters [it came with the flywheel for me anyway].
Not sure if it matters, but I soaked it good with PBlaster for a couple days; that thing wasn't too keen on coming off!
What kind of puller did you find to fit it? I used a hub puller but had to downsize the bolts and put a nut on the opposite side to get the width.
