From other posts I have seen in the archives, the reverse gear is NOT a common gear to wear out in the Hs. I would suspect that the shifter is worn where it connects into the shifting forks. There is a pin you knock out to remove the shifting lever so you can look at the forks and the bottom of the shifting lever. There are some other folks on this board who can qive you great detail on what to look for. You should have some good responses by the end of Monday.
