I don't think tearing up the good running 1950 H to fix the other would be a good idea. The 1939 is harder to find and should be kept as original as possible. If your 1939's engine is too bad to rebuild, find another good block out of a non-running tractor. I'd hate to see a good runner be used for parts, but that's me because I love fixing them and don't like seeing them get parted out.
