A condenser going bad will do that. As for a coil going bad it takes about an hour for one the heat up enough for it to be the problem. Check for spark the moment it dies. If you have good spark that is blue/white and it will jump a 1/4 inch gap spark is not the problem. You say fuel filter do you have an in line filter on it?? If you do it could well be the problem since most are not made for gravity flow fuel systems. One other way to check if it is a fuel problem is pull the drain plug out of the bottom of the carb and let it flow for at least 5 minutes. You need a good steady flow. If you don't have that you know where your problem is
