Ya from what Ive heard and read the 340s used to be really common in Minnesota and Wisconsin as county tractors back in the day. Thats where our 340U came from was county surplus auction. Decent tractor for their size, pretty good power to weight ratio. Ours is mainly used for mowing and snow clearing. Nice little tractor if you ask me. I actually like the slower reverse, works nice for snowblowing. Wish ours had power steering, but hey ya cant have everything. Red and white now, but used to be golden yellow back in the day.
