if you in fact have the IH style ISO conversion, they can pull kinda hard, especially when your hands and/or the hoses are slippery--my dad hated that father's day present when i installed the kit. Many places, including the dealer, offer handles for hydraulic hoses. they are basically a 6 inch long piece of pipe with a molded plastic covering that gives you a substantial piece to pull on instead of a slippery hose.
