After many hours or tirelessly searching for a starter that would be compatible with the ring gear that I found, I was finally able to locate someone who could build it. Automotive parts on tractor applications are sometimes NOT THE EASIEST route, but under the circumstances was about my only option.
Thanks to the fine folks at Nations Auto Electric, (see link below), I now have a CCW rotation version of a Dodge starter, (minus the gear reduction..so it won't sound like a Dodge)...and the project WILL proceed.
I will post some more follow up and hopefully some pictures (if I can figure how)once I start assembling all this.
