One last thing on ebay. A friend of mine sold a $300.00 antique doll to a woman in France. I drove her to the PO when she mailed it. She took insurance and signature required delivery. The woman claimed she never received it even tho the post office had a signature that was forwarded to ebay. Pay Pal returned the buyers $300 even with the evidence that it was delivered. My friend is out the doll and the money because of pay pal. As far as the trust issue, the more people you throw into the mix the more chance for problems. And you are correct, I know that I can be trusted to send the item when I have the cash. I make sure the buyer has every bit of info on me that he wants, including hard wire telephone number which is a big deal in todays no name cellphone world. In all the sales I have completed over the internet the one and only problem I have had with a buyer was on ebay and it was compounded by ebay interference and inconsitant policies. There is a line in an old BB King song," The only one that loves me is my mother, and sometimes I think she might be jivin."
