info on A Cun Cadet Model 70

I bought a C.C. model 70 sevetral months ago and was wondering if anyone had any info about it. Particularly whether it had a push0-button start or a key start. It has pushbutton right now but apparently had key earlier bcuz I found the ignition at the base of the dash!!). My grandfather worked for an IH dealer and assembled hundreds of these things but can't remember. Any help would be appreciated. The serial number on the trans is 417K
engine is (2)418209
tag on grill is 420k
grill is 384896 R2
