I pay ZERO fees at an auction. Fees are to be paid by the SELLER not the buyer.
I refuse to go to any auction sale that has a "buyer's premium" because it is the seller's responsibility to pay for the service of the auctioneer, not mine.
I have had no problems with eBay and PayPal has saved my wife and I some considerable amounts of money when no product has shown up. Buying or selling, I've had good experience with over 200 transactions to date.
