That's an excellent question! There were all the Bxxx British built and I've seen a few guys here with French Cs. It's either gonna be something like that or I note that October 17 fell on a Saturday in 1942 and wonder if somebody in the foundry might have been nursin' a hangover. Any event, I'm lining up with the view that the chassis on this thing is a late 42 or early 43, with a 51 motor
