Take a look on the red power forum about somebody's 1066 powershift project. Not as much info there as i would like, but enough to make some good hypothesis about what's involved. and some pictures that make me drool. Basically taking an IH motor with an 88series rear mount plate and bolting to a magnum tranny back. and for sheetmetal the magnum cab and 66 series hood/grille.
would be fun to have the place, time and money to tackle such a project. I would love to put a dt407 in a powershift chassis.
may as well do a retro-power, since it seems everyone is doing the cummins engine in the 56/66/86 series chassises, so there's gonna be more old engines floating around out there!
