I am curious myself. Like I have said before the CHN dealer I use has some guys that have little drive or desire to help when it comes to older tractor parts. They would just soon send me to the sales counter for a new tractor. Even though I had the CNH system and my TC-88 Parts manual I kinda shot in the dark on the pump situation.
I bought the pump online from Marshalls Tractor in KY. It came branded a Hy-Capacity, checked on them, good parts, good prices. I just pulled out the TC-88 and it DOES NOT show the 17 gpm for the F504, only the I504. BUT it does show three different gears for the F504: 14T 501-2469, 15T 2470-5159 (I have this one), 17T 5160-up... I was going to put a new gear on it for grins until I priced one, $180! I was also going to replace the suction tube 395334R91 but it was about $50. I never saw anything on the 21T gear...
For the I504 the 17 gpm pump is listed. It also has three different gears. 14T 501-511, 15T 512-1329, 17T 1330-up... It also says when replacing 373964R92 or 374483R92 also use 395335R91 suction tube.
Interesting enough it also list a tandem filter assembly, less elements for the I504 number 382854R91 and also, package 388085R91, valve 386121R92, cover 388083R1, and six screws 179847 for S/N 501-12265. I had no luck on these items... Hence the Allied Precision Extension, probably much cheaper and better to boot!
This is probably a lot of useless info and obselete numbers. Good luck and if I can help the EMAIL is open as well as the forum.
