One more item of note. If you plan on using the hubs from your 300 measure the bearing surfaces on the stub axle. The later M,400 and 450 are bigger than the 300,H,350 and early M. A&I Products carries new steering knuckles for the wide fronts. Also check the bearings on the uprights. When the knuckle on mine broke there were no tapered rollers in the cup. The cup had been put back in packed with grease at sometime before I bought it. That's when I found I had an early M front rather than an H based on the length of the upright.
