I don't think you'd find a 444 or 384 for $1,500., those being 70s-80s tractors. The above list is from 250 being oldest in 1956 to the 434 being newest in late 60s. Basically each one replaced the last in the order they are listed. Those tractors are all basically the same, 250 had transmission driven PTO, rest were Live PTO. Cubic inches increased in the newer models.
In a Farmall it could be a Super BMD or a B-450, both look like an American M.
