i have an 8ft double auger behind my 5250(105 pto hp) and it struggles a lot in anything deeper than 8 inches of snow making the first cut. after the initial cut you can just take narrower passes. i've seen an 8ft dually make a MX240 bark.(in deep snow) i think you'd be a lot happier with a smaller blower.
