I think my Grand Cherokee (no real frame) can be rated for a pretty high weight trailer but I sure wouldn't want to do it myself. A big pontoon boat on a trailer is enough. Engine, transmission, and axles are big enough, but the vehicle is light. My local dealer orders all jeeps with the towing package and big radiator. I only wish he'd order them all with bigger disk brake rotors. That's my only complaint.
