Sounds high, but what kind and how new of loader does it have on it? A good 460 runs from $2500 to $4500 (the higher end is on a dealer's lot). A decent/good loader runs $2000/$4000 - a cheap loader can be a few hundred dollars.
As for what to look out for on a 460 - make sure the TA works. The other thing is remember it has a 2 point of fast hitch (if equipped) - not a three point hitch that nearly all "modern" equipment uses. This may influance its ability to properly handle a snow blower.
A 460 is "rated" 49 hp at the PTO - but that's when it was new 45-50 years ago.
