I've used Speedi sleeves several times. Recently put one on the drive line coupling on my I-6. The only problem I have with them is that they are expensive. It's so much trouble to get to that seal, I would not put it back together without doing something to repair the seal running surface. Also, if there is any play in the bearings on the transmission input shaft, those need to be replaced as well as the seal. I expect there is a new coupling out there somewhere if you can't get it from an IH dealer.
