If the head # is 362173 the combustion chamber is not as deep and shaped a little different than a 8060 DC. 362173 will give you more compression. 400 head doesn't use the ventilation pipe over rocker arms or have the hole in back of head for pipe to air cleaner like you SM head. Just use the pipe thats in 400 head, 400 valve cover and rig up ventilation pipe from valve cover to air cleaner. Rest is straight bolt on. Clearance on most pistons to head or valves won't be a problem, but always pays to check.
