When I was a kid in the 1950's I would spend the summers on my grandparents farm. My grandfather had the local IH dealer come out to the farm and convert one of his tractors to a one row cotton picker. As I recall the converted tractor was changed to run backwards. Does any one else recall this type of conversion and any idea what model IH or Farmall tractor would have been used? As I remember, after the cotton was picked the picker was converted back to a tractor. Thanks in advance for helping refresh my memory. Jim
