Hugh, the couple of 540's I know about only have trip buckets and the one that I have run only has single acting cylinders - no down pressure. It uses the tractor hydraulics to power it. Maybe that is the difference from a "658" loader and a wagner. The 658 parts book doesn't even show any hydraulic options available for the bucket. The 560 tractor I saw this past summer had a way larger loader than what was on the 540's. Probably the same loader was used on the 560/570 as the same loader was used on the 540/550. I saw a cockshutt 35 with a wagner backhoe once at one of the cockhutt shows up your way one summer.
