I have a 1066, that is my first diesel tractor ever. The head gasket is leaking oil on the right side, so I am going to pull it and replace gasket. I guess my question is it has 6400 hours, should I do rings and bearings as long as I have the head off. It does smoke a fair amount, but not oil smoke and it doesnt use an excessive amount of oil. I have heard about the sleeves corroding away on these, but mine does have coolant filter. Thanks in advance.
