Is your linkage OK? I would pull the filter and inspect it for metal particles. It is quite possible that the bearings on the lower shaft in the range transmission have failed. That would affect both low and reverse. High is direct drive from the speed transmission to the pinion shaft. You can see a bit by removing the cover on the left side of the rear frame.
