How big is the hole? A quick fix would be a piece of window screen on the bottom side, out of sight, and a dab of JB weld on the top. Use the JB to hold the screen in place, and then fill the hole with more of the JB, let it dry, sand it smooth and paint. A more permanent solution would involve welding or brazing in some new metal and then you'd still need some body filler to blend it all together.
