A 60 year old tractor that's been sitting for 25 years will likely need some seals replaced. These tractors are otherwise very sturdy and reliable with no real "common problems" outside normal age and wear.
Best thing to do is try and locate the leak. It may not be a big deal to fix, or it might require splitting the tractor...
