Jason The newer style WFE command a price between 600 to 1000. The older style WFE are slightly less. Out here in IH infested central California, I walked away from a potential purchase for a M with a WFE for 900. The tractor run fine. To minimize your costs, buy a complete tractor, use what you need and part it out. 3-pt hitchs can be bought for 500 to 600 new. Hopefully, the SM has live hydraulics. A new live hydraulic pump and hardware is in the neighborhood of 700. The cost of a WFE, 3-pt with live hydraulics installation can be between 1500 to 2000. Unless a person intends to use the Farmall, the value of these add-ons is hard to recoupe by resale. I have a M with all the goodies including increased HP, live hydraulics, 3-pt, weights, new tires, paint and excellant mechanical condition. We use the tractor on the farm. We also have over 4500 invested in the unit but it isused in conjunction with the newer tractors. Good luck Ray M Madera County, CA
