Definitely look at the steering. A lot of these tractors have damaged steering due to loaders. Parts are hard to come by. If it has a TA make sure it works although tractor will work fine if its only bad in low range.Are you sure its 12 volt - original has 6 volt. Does it have a 2 pt hitch? Over all they're a pretty good tractor. I have one I use every year on a 9' haybine. I'm thinking the price is high but maybe not so bad if all it needs is an alternator. It doesn't take long to add a lot of money to an older tractor if it needs things like tires, etc. I'd try to get the price lowered some.
