Can't remember who wanted to slow down his A (?) for rototilling or slow speed cultivating.
Over on the YT Tractor Talk board, someone mentioned he had a dual range 140. I didn't know they existed. I am probably not the only one as no one else mentioned it.
The range shift lever is next the gear shift lever. The gear set is installed in the torque tube.
I bring this subject up because it might be possible to retro fit the A with the 140 parts. Either that or one could look at the parts in a parts book and reverse engineer the gear set.
