Some exhaust smoke after a re-build is normal due to all the lubrication that was used in the combustion chamber when it was re-assembled. I would be concerned if it does not clear up after an hour or two of run-time. Did you get all of the piston rings gaps staggered ? was the top end done with new valves and guides ? hopefully the smoke will clear and it will not be an issue.
