Henry - Since your loader has 2-way (push-pull) lift cylinders, you can get by with less reservoir capacity than if it had 1-way (push only) cylinders. However even with 2-way cylinders there will still be SOME net movement of oil out of the reservoir when the cylinders extend. The oil volume reduction will be equal to the displacement of the cylinder rods.
If your tractor’s existing reservoir capacity is inadequate for your loader it’s not difficult to add a 2nd, auxiliary reservoir then tee it into the pump suction line. It can be mounted most anywhere, but at or above the level of the pump is preferred. The reservoir connecting line should be the same size as the pump suction line. Also it must be well vented with the vent protected with a breather/filter to keep dust, etc out.

Personally I prefer a loader with down pressure. Down pressure makes the loader much more versatile for everything from pushing posts into the ground to lifting the tractor’s front end to change a tire.
