On my puller I used 2 1/2" channel iron. Cut it to sleeve width in the band saw drilled a 15/16" hole for the 3/4" allthread rod. For the top I used the same 2 1/2" channel cut 3" longer that the bore width. Drilled a 15/16" inch hole for the 3/4" allthread rod. I used 1" nuts to raise the the top channel off of the block. Welded a 3/4" nut on over the hole on the top channel. Cut your 3/4" allthread to the length needed single nut the bottom & double nut the top of the rod. Get out your air impact wrench & have at it. Works pretty good. I used this with the crank in & out both. If you are going to pull with the crank in make sure you cover crank connection points with a rag & very carefully remove raggs after pulling. Then use a shopvac with the wife's thin angled end vac attachment to clean any junk that will fall down. She'll love you for usein it. DON'T USE AIR PRESSURE this will blow the junk into the bearings. Good Luck

Once started it putted along pretty good. It
