Oh well then that explains it all . I'll bet the hyd. oil looks like MILK . And more then likely it has been COLD there . You have water in the system as that tractor will condensate bad and water builds up inside the tractor . SOOOoooo ya just might as well plan on draining the system and replacing the oil . If you do not have and owners manual then it will be money well spent and set down and read it cover to cover . Also buy and IT manual for it . Since you do not run the tractor enough to really cook out the moisture you will always have problems with any tractor . It would be in your best intrest to find a good trust worthy mechanic to come out a couple times a years and service it . The hyd. filter will do it's job on catchen water But it will require changing a lot more often then a tractor that is worked hard. This also apply's to engine oil changes and fuel filter changes. I am sure that you will find ICe in the filter for the hyd's .
