I want to replace an electric winch on my boom pole with a hydraulic one with quick connects. I also want to operate the belly mower and front blade on a cub with separate hydraulic loops. I've ordered the by pass blocks and I'll need a cylinder, valves, hoses, etc. I've never dabled with hydraulics but would like to tackle this. I have much to learn.
Q1: What's the best way to get educated for this DIY??? Q2: What's the HYD flow and pressure available from a 140 and a cub? Q3: Does the hyd fluid flow through the valves all the time, or just when the implement is used?
