When I painted the cast frame, radiator and engine on my 10-20 I used Dupont Centari without hardener and brushed it on just the cast parts. It looked super nice! I did try it on the sheet metal, but I have to say there is a trick to that and I didn't work with it long enough to figure it out so I would spray sheetmetal, but the cast parts MAM o MAN! I have brushpainted with lacquer years ago and it came out good as a spray job. Had to use slow dry thinner and a very good brush. Cheap brush will not cut it at all and will ruin the job. One brush for primer, and another for color. Spread paint one direction and then go back and do it again diagonally then back the same direction. Have to be fast or it will start to ball up. Then when all is done and dry good for a few days, wet sand with sanding block and very fine paper like 800- 1000 grit and rub it out.
