Hi, the usuall problem is leaky "O" rings in the brake pistons which requires pulling the axle housing to access the brake mechanism. Do some simple checks first: Check hydraulic fluid lever and replace hydraulic filter. Check for hydraulic fluid leaks from the brake hydraulic line that starts under the battery box along the top of the transmission case to under the seat. You can bleed the brake by loosening the bleed screw over the axle. Bleeding brakes requires a clean bucket and some plastic tubing that will fit over the end of the bleed screw. Bleed procedure: 1)Run tractor until hydraulic oil is at operating temp. 2)Run engine at fast idle 1300-1400RPM. 3)Connect plastic tube to bleed screw, loosen bleed screw and let hydraulic fluid flow until it is air bubble free. 4)Close bleed screw and top up hydraulic fluid level.
Some hints: Never pump the brakes without engine running. If tractor is not used frequently then start engine and let it run.
