It really depends on what you will use the 3pt for. My experience with them is the weak point is usually the upper most point of contact with the tractor. I’m only visiting from the Ford board, and don’t know IH tractors well (but have an IH combine). I had a Holden or Holdem bolt on 3pt on a 100+hp Ford. It was well build, with a heavy frame, and 2 x cylinders, but it attached at the top with 2 x heavy angle iron brackets that bolted on the axle trumpet flanges. This eventually cracked the trumpet flange on the bolt holes where it bolted on so I took it off and no longer use it. Chris
