Lost my Australian Shepard last fall and swore I wouldn't get another. Then my SIL came over and said a girl she knew had free Aussie pups. I told her if she had a male to bring me one. Well, she brought me one and the little feller is half Aussie and of all things half Chow. He has already became my new best friend. Can't and won't replace old Rooster but he is fast becoming a loyal companion. Follows me to the field and greenhouse every trip I make. I think a new pup will help your son with the loss of his dog.
