i have a international 424, i had the same problem. after using it for twenty minutes it would spit and sputter and quit like it was starved for fuel. It has an electric fuel pump. I checked and changed several things. The last thing I checked was the Generator. I had it tested and it was shot. I replaced it and finished the year without a problem. The next year it started again. I changed over to an alternator and it's been fine for two years. I can spend all day in the hayfield w/o a problem. I asked someone and they said, it wasn't putting enough juice to the fuel pump to push the fuel to the carburetor to keep it running. I still have a problem but not the problem i mentioned above anymore. The alternator helped me. Good luck.
