Hello, Yesterday my 656 shift linkage came apart, the handle went all the way forward and all the way back. It appears that the small pin through the shift rod fell out. I found the pin and tapped in back in to the rod. I figured to get a new pin so it would fit tighter but figured the hole was worn as well. Can I tack the new pin in the rod so it won't move. The pin is about 1" long by 5/16" diameter. The pin is the one that turns the shift linkage when the handle is pushed forward or pulled back. Thanks for the help. YC
