Here's your free guess...that it is a spring-centered spool valve.
So...one of the springs may have broken, or alternatively there could be a ruptured seal internally (could be an o-ring or a "quad" X-cross-section ring) that's bypassing fluid in one direction rather than forcing it into the appropriate side of the cylinder.
As far as parts...unfortunately can't help there. With the right kit and some care, rebuilding is generally not bad. A hydraulic rebuild/repair shop might be more help too as they will be skilled in sourcing parts by "reverse engineering" rather than always having the proper data ahead of time.
