I just brought home yesterday what I believe is an original 312 semi mount fast hitch gold demonstrator plow from around 1960 or so. I know IH had a special sales promotion around that time period where they painted some of their fast hitch plows gold for the dealers to point out their positive attributes. Theres gold paint on every part of the plow,even the back sides of the moldboards and the decals are still just barely readable. About 40% of the plow has gold paint on it yet, otherwise it`s just bare metal and light surface rust, so I don`t think it`s ever been repainted. My question would be if the gold paint code is the same on these plows as it is on the later IH gold demo tractors in 1970 ? Thanks for any input, Mark
