Ive never seen them in person, but see them once in awhile on ebay. I wouldnt say that there are extremely rare since they were an option, but they are not an everyday thing either. So value wise it may make a little difference but nothing huge. Course cause its less common it would be more costly and probably more searching to repair. Sorry I dont have any numbers on how many were made and Im not sure anyone does as IH was not big on recording everything.
Although one thing you might try is searching through the Wisconsin Historical Society collection of IH archives, cause you never know what you might find in there.
