Jim I don't use the glow plugs & either togather. I use one or the other. Of late I have been using either to save the battery costs. Once the tractor is started it is easy to restart. Just that first start of the day is a grunt. I have had the starter rebuilt but this has been a bit ago. Since it appears that a gear starter is not availabe nore the way to go. I will get a new delco starter install 00 gage cables & see what happens. It may have been the starter all along, this time it will be a complete new starter, inlcuding bendix & solenoid not just starter motor.
