Both the C and the Super C used a prefix of FC in the chassis serial number and FCM on the motor number.
All of the A-M series Farmalls prior to the Supers had an F at the beginning of the prefix. If they were made and shipped as Internationals (as opposed to Farmalls) that F became an I, which was most common in, maybe even exclusive to, the As. I don't know if the I was used on bigger models that were shipped outside the US and labeled as Internationals or not.
When the Supers came along, the A and C kept the F/I at the front, while the H and M changed over to an S along with other changes.
