I posted this over the weekend with no response so I thought I would try again. The Bull pinion shaft seal is leaking pretty bad on our 656. I read about pulling it apart and shimming the bearings and putting a new seal in. Does this usually fix the problem or do I also need to consider new bearings? Its a 10K hour machine, and the rearend has some noise so I assume things are fairly worn. I dont really want to get into more than I have to since its spring and I am busy.
