Sloan Express, 800-934-9777 has the chain you need. It sounds like you have a McCormick 100 spreader. This uses "S" flat steel chain. It's 52.99 for a 10 ft length and wow it's gone up. I restored a 100 spreader about 4 years ago and as I recall, the price was around $20 then. They also have the SBR and SBL links to attach the slats. They are 2.49 each. I will note also that if you are replacing the floor in your spreader, be aware that the bed is wider by about an inch at the rear as compared to the front. This is as designed so the manure will slide out easier. I was not aware of this when I cut the boards for my floor and had to do some rework. I reused most of the drag chain, just needed some parts to repair it. I also had to have a new roller chain for the drive mechanism, which I think I also got from sloanex.
